Mexican Hammocks Ltd has recently made a small move north. From our beginnings, in November 2007 we have been based in Brooklyn, Wellington. A great spot, but not so accessible. I don't think our courier enjoyed his daily climbs up and down our 50 odd stairs. Especially when having to carry our heavy hammock stands.
*Update 2014 - We have made a further move north and now based in Tauranga.*
We are now based in the beautiful Paraparaumu, in the Kapiti region. A lovely sunny spot with a beautiful beach, river and the ideal hammock climate. A great central location, only 50mins from Wellington, and a bit closer and more convenient for our northern neighbours.
While we still don't have a shop - as we believe we can offer much better, faster, service and better prices without one, we do welcome viewing by appointment. We have a large amount of information on our website pertaining to all our products and are always happy to receive any queries via phone or email. However, if you are in the area and still feel you'd like to have a look/feel/test. Just give us a call or email and we'll arrange a time for you.
We are still able to offer the same quality and speed our courier service - Castle Parcels and Posthaste, who provide overnight delivery for the North Island and 2 working day delivery to the South Island. If you order prior to 2 pm daily we can have orders collected the same day also.
We continue to offer the same great range of products, our hand-woven Mexican hammocks, hammock accessories, Mexican blankets, Baja hoodies, ponchos and Mexican lucha libre wrestling masks. We also hope to have our very popular hammock stands back in stock by the end of this month.
