Wooden Arc Hammock Stand Features
Relax in style this summer with this beautifully shaped wooden arc hammock stand. Specially made to our requirements to better suit New Zealand conditions and our range of Mexican hammocks.
The extra-large size frame, tall arches and extra-long hanging chain ensure you can achieve the perfect hammock 'hang' and enjoy quality relaxation all summer.
Suitable for both traditional non-bar and spreader bar hammocks. It holds up to 160kg so can be enjoyed with a loved one.
Assembly required - all fittings, fixtures, hanging chains, assembly tools and instructions included.
Suitable for all our sizes and styles of hammocks and most hammocks less than 4.0m long.

Hammock Stand Care
This hammock stand has been treated with a wood preservative and all metal parts are stainless steel for greater durability.
To prolong and enjoy your stand for many years to come we recommend when possible keeping the stand undercover. If you do intend to leave the hammock in the elements we recommend regularly oiling (every 6-12 months) to further preserve the timber. Disassemble and lightly sand each section first with fine sandpaper to remove any dirt and allow the oil to adhere better and then apply 1-2 coats of quality outdoor furniture or marine grade oil.
If placing your stand directly onto grass, we recommend placing the feet on concrete pavers to protect them from ground moisture.
Over winter while your stand is less likely to be in use we recommend storing indoors to prevent unnecessary weathering.
This stand is made from sustainably harvested and certified Scandinavian spruce. The original colour may fade naturally as the wood matures.
Checking: Small cracks running along the grain of the wood is a natural process of the timber as it expands and contracts due to changes in temperature and moisture and should not be of concern. This stand is made to the same high standards as laminated construction beams in Europe through a machine pressure lamination process and this checking will not affect the structural integrity of the stand.
Bleeding: As the wood warms in the sun you may also notice some small areas where resin (like thick honey) seeps out of particular spots in the timber. This will stop over time and can be wiped or snapped off as it cools back down.
