Hammock Tree Straps

Save the knot tying and hole drilling hassle - hammock tree straps are a quick and easy way to hang your hammock from the nearest tree or post.

Hammock Tree Strap Features

The strap simply wraps around the trunk or post and extends out to attach to your hammock with the included 's' hooks. Tree-friendly wide straps to prevent digging into tree bark.

Multi-loop strap, with 18 looped attachment points making it the quickest and easiest way to adjust the hang of your hammock. Super strong, triple stitched loops.

Save the need for rope knots, the tree straps are very simple and easy to use on any sturdy tree.  You will love the ease and usability of these straps. 

Like any hanging accessory or fixture, we recommend regularly checking of the straps to ensure safe use. Exposure to outdoor elements such as rain and sun place wear on the straps. Installation instructions are included in the package.

All stock is held on hand in Tauranga and dispatched daily via courier delivery service for orders received prior to 2 pm (working days). 

Delivery Guidelines 

Our delivery guidelines are as follows;

  • North Island; 1-2 business days (usually next business day for all major centres, e.g. order Monday receive Tuesday).
  • South Island; 1-3 business days (usually the second business day, e.g. order Monday, receive Wednesday).
  • Rural Areas; May incur an extra 1-2 days to deliver.
  • NZ Post Deliveries; 2-4 Working Days (for non-suitable courier address such as PO Boxes).

Some hammock stand products; the metal arc stand and curved arc stand, are considered 'oversized' by some courier providers which may add an extra day or two to the delivery guidelines as given in some cases.

Tracking Information

Once your order is packaged and ready for dispatch you will be sent an email confirmation along with tracking details where applicable. 

If your parcel has not arrived within the delivery guidelines then please check the tracking information you have been provided by email. Often delivery has been attempted but no-one was home to sign for it. If this shows on the track and trace page or for further info then please contact the applicable carrier. The customer service team can check up on your package status in more detail and can organise a redelivery or advise you of your nearest depot to collect if necessary. Any problems please contact us and we'll be happy to help sort it out for you.

We use various courier delivery service providers including; Post Haste, NZ Couriers, Pass the Parcel, Courier Post, Toll NZ and PBT or NZ Post at times when more suitable. 

Please note - a signature is usually required on delivery, so please provide a daytime occupied address for delivery or instructions for leaving unattended packages. If you have a PO Box/Private Bag address - we ask that you please provide an alternative physical address if suitable as courier services are unable to deliver to these. Alternatively, delivery will be made by NZ Post. To change your delivery address post-purchase please just email us ASAP with updated delivery details.

Peak Times

During peak times courier delivery delays can occur due to increased workloads and any quotations of delivery times by the Mexican Hammocks Store are made in good faith but are estimates only and the Mexican Hammocks Store shall not be bound by such quotation. As such if purchasing at peak times such as Christmas it pays to order a little earlier. 

Saturday Delivery

Standard courier delivery services operate on a Monday - Friday basis. For an additional $5 per small package, we can provide a Saturday delivery option to most New Zealand cities and towns for orders placed prior to 2 pm Friday for North Island addresses and prior to 2 pm Thursday for the South Island addresses. To check the eligibility of your address please visit; http://www.posthaste.co.nz/address_checker.html To place an order for Saturday delivery please contact us prior or directly after ordering via email or phone on 021 123 8963.

Please note, this is generally only available for smaller satchel size items such as non-bar Mexican hammocks, hoodies, blankets, masks and the like.

Pickup and product viewing options are available by appointment from Omanawa, Tauranga. Please contact us to schedule a pickup time, viewing or for more details.

International Shipping

For delivery to Australia orders up to a total weight of 3.9kg are available for direct shipping and the following options can be selected when checking out;

$30 - International Airmail (3-10 working days for delivery)

$40 - International Courier (2-6 working days for delivery) 

For any other items and international delivery please contact us for a delivery quote first, including information on the item you would like to purchase and the delivery address and we'll return back to you with a quote promptly. 

Any associated international import duties/taxes will be at the purchaser's cost and responsibility.
