Delivery Information

Order any product and delivery is free within New Zealand

We provide fast free shipping New Zealand wide on all orders. Order prior to 2pm (working days) and we’ll send out your purchase the same day. We use the courier delivery services of Post Haste, NZ Couriers, Pass the Parcel, Toll NZ and PBT or NZ Post at times when more suitable. Please note - a signature is usually required on delivery, so please provide a daytime occupied address for delivery or instructions for leaving unattended packages. If you have a PO Box/Private Bag address - we ask that you please provide an alternative physical address if suitable as courier services are unable to deliver to these. Alternatively delivery will be made by NZ Post. To change your delivery address post purchase please just email us ASAP with updated delivery details.

For orders received before 2pm our delivery guidelines are as follows;

  • North Island; 1-2 business days (usually next business day for all major centres, e.g. order Monday receive Tuesday).
  • South Island; 1-3 business days (usually second business day, e.g. order Monday, receive Wednesday).
  • Rural Areas; May incur an extra 1-2 days to deliver.
  • NZ Post Deliveries; 1-3 Working Days.

Once your order is packaged and ready for dispatch you will be sent an email confirmation along with tracking details where applicable. 

If your parcel has not arrived within the time frame then please check the tracking information you have been provided by email. Often delivery has been attempted but no-one was home to sign for it. If this shows on the track and trace page or for further info then please contact the applicable carrier. The customer service team can check up on your package status in more detail and can organise a redelivery or advise you of your nearest depot to collect if necessary. Any problems though please contact us and we'll help sort it out for you.

Please note except for statutory holidays our dispatch guidelines do not change for Christmas and other peak holiday times. You can still expect the same prompt dispatch. However on very rare occassions courier delivery delays can occur due to increased workloads over certain periods and any quotations of delivery times by Mexican Hammocks Ltd are made in good faith but are estimates only and Mexican Hammocks Ltd shall not be bound by such quotation. As such if purchasing at peak times (Christmas) it pays to order a little earlier.
