Hammock Stand and Queen Size Cotton Hammock
We found when testing out the Queen size cotton hammock in the hammock stand that this does require some adjustment for this to fit most suitably. The reason for this, is that the cotton is a much more stretcher fabric compared to the nylon and as such if unadjusted the hammock will touch the ground/stand when using un-adjusted. A cotton hammock can stretch up to 50cm from first use also.
Some options to adjust.
You can make a knot close to the loops on each side to shorten the length of the hammock. (see details on your ‘hammock instructions’)
Another simple option is to turn the supplied eye bolts around the other way at one end (See photos below). Then loop the hammock arms over the top of the stand and around into the carbine and eyebolt. We advise when using this method to ensure it is safe and secure and that the hammock can’t slip off either end. This can cause the carbine to slight indent the wood at end end using this method also. This is not an optimal way of using this stand and we do advise caution and discretion if using it this way. We provide these as suggestions only and take no responsibility for any injury or damage that could occur from this use. Please use with care.
