Now this is really where the hammock stand shines! These seem to be the perfect fit for the Nylon resort styles hammocks, and they really look great together!
The Resort Style hammock in Nylon not as long as the other types, this fits the length very well, and hangs perfectly. Very comfortable strong and support, the Resort hammock is different to the other varieties in that is has a spreader bar at each end. This keeps the hammock drawn out and can make entry and exit easier. The cord used is also much thicker. See the photos below for how great it looks. Shown is Resort Style hammock in natural white. We do not recommend purchasing this together with the Resort Hammock in Cotton cord though as the cotton cord stretches too much and the hammock will often touch the frame below when in use. This is not a problem with the nylon corded hammock though as this does not stretch so much.

We found when testing out the Queen size cotton hammock in the hammock stand that this does require some adjustment for this to fit most suitably. The reason for this, is that the cotton is a much more stretcher fabric compared to the nylon and as such if unadjusted the hammock will touch the ground/stand when using un-adjusted. A cotton hammock can stretch up to 50cm from first use also.
Some options to adjust.
You can make a knot close to the loops on each side to shorten the length of the hammock. (see details on your ‘hammock instructions’)
Another simple option is to turn the supplied eye bolts around the other way at one end (See photos below). Then loop the hammock arms over the top of the stand and around into the carbine and eyebolt. We advise when using this method to ensure it is safe and secure and that the hammock can’t slip off either end. This can cause the carbine to slight indent the wood at end end using this method also. This is not an optimal way of using this stand and we do advise caution and discretion if using it this way. We provide these as suggestions only and take no responsibility for any injury or damage that could occur from this use. Please use with care.

Here are some photos of the King Size Hammock in Nylon cord being tested in the hammock stand. It fits well without the need for adjustment. The chain that comes with the package is not needed however. We did notice the hammock felt a bit ‘tight’ with the stand, as generally you want to have the ends of the hammock hung from higher points to give it, it’s best shape and more comfortable lie. It does however still fit well, and was comfortable to use.
